Wisdom Homes

Wisdom Homes has built quality homes across New South Wales since 1999, growing from home and land packages into a portfolio spanning six display villages, with expansion to ten underway. As the business scaled, its IT needed to keep pace with a workforce spread across a three-storey office and a growing project pipeline.

The engagement

C4X migrated Wisdom Homes' on-premises Exchange server to Microsoft 365, consolidating communication for more than 200 users and 35 shared mailboxes onto a single, properly managed platform. The office itself, including the car park, was fitted with a fibre backbone and Ethernet to every endpoint, backed by redundant core and edge switching and enterprise-grade Wi-Fi.

Alongside the connectivity rebuild, C4X implemented a cloud-based disaster recovery program to protect Wisdom Homes' mission-critical applications and data, built around rapid replication and minimal potential data loss.

Outcome

The rebuild delivered measurable gains: improved system performance and uptime, stronger service stability and disaster recovery coverage, unlimited storage and advanced email features through Microsoft 365 that reduced infrastructure and staffing overhead, and materially lower upfront capital cost than a comparable on-premises DR build would have required. Ongoing monitoring of intrusion detection and prevention systems keeps security posture current as the business continues to grow.
