Privacy Policy

This policy explains how C4X Technology Architects ("C4X", "we", "us") collects, uses and discloses personal information through c4x.com.au, and applies the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We collect personal information you provide directly to us, primarily through the contact form on this site. That form collects your name, email address, phone number and message. We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, and it is transmitted securely via Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) to our enquiries mailbox.

We do not require account creation to use this site, and we do not collect payment or financial information through it.

Analytics

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate, non-identifying page-view metrics such as page counts and general visitor location. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless: it does not use tracking cookies, does not fingerprint devices, and does not build a profile of individual visitors. Because no personal information is collected this way, no cookie consent banner is required or shown.

We do not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or any advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this site.

How we use and disclose information

Information submitted through the contact form is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to provide the services you have asked about. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties. We may disclose information where required by law, or to service providers who help us operate this site (such as our email delivery and hosting providers), under terms that require them to protect it consistently with this policy.

Data security and storage

This site runs on Cloudflare's global network. Contact form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections and delivered via Amazon SES; we do not store submitted messages in a separate marketing database beyond what is needed to respond to you.

Access and correction

You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you by contacting us at privacy@c4x.com.au. We will respond in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, contact us first at the email above so we can try to resolve it directly. If you remain unsatisfied, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
